Terms of Employment:

• Full-Time, 1.0 FTE
• Responsible To: Building Principal and District Division Chair of Science
• Location: Upper Campus
• Calendar: 180 Day / School-Year Employee (prorated based upon start date)
• Daily Schedule: M-F, 7:15 am - 3:00 pm
• Salary and Benefits: Eligible for medical benefits and paid leave. Salary is based on years of experience and education attainment. Please see the McHenry Community High School Educators’ Association Collective Bargaining Agreement located at www.dist156.org for more information on salary and benefits. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Issued Illinois Professional Educator License
• A Science endorsement is required
• Bilingual / ESL endorsement preferred
• Ability to stimulate students to actively participate in the learning process
• Ability to work closely with other staff members 

 Responsibilities:

• Teach 9-12 grade high school students in the content area of science
• Must perform all responsibilities, classroom and supervisory, in a professional manner as expected of all district teachers
